Bargaining Update
We want to give CUPE 748 members an update on how bargaining has been going. As you may know, we began bargaining with the school board this month and have met four times. We have exchanged our respective proposals. Unfortunately, we are farther apart on many issues with the school board than we’d hoped.
We have meetings scheduled for early January, and we will return to the negotiations determined to get the deal CUPE 748 members need and deserve.
Update your emails
We need to keep our members informed about bargaining. It is crucial that we can reach out to you quickly. Please ensure we have your current personal email address and encourage your coworkers to do the same. The most important thing we can do right now to support our bargaining committee is to update our membership’s personal contact information. Please send yours to michelleb748@gmail.com today.
