Your voice MATTERS!
Provincial-bargaining-survey-2024

The survey is open until December 17, 2024.
Incidents and Injuries at Work
It’s important to fill out the 8.15.02 Workplace Violent Incident Report Form (1) any time there is an incident, whether it resulted in an injury or not. “Violence” means the attempted or actual exercise by a person, other than a worker, of any physical force so as to cause injury to a worker, and includes any threatening statement or behaviour which gives a worker reasonable cause to believe that he or she is at “risk of injury”.
If you are injured, report it to your supervisor and seek medical attention if needed. More information on workplace injuries at https://www.worksafebc.com/en/claims/report-workplace-injury-illness/how-workers-report-workplace-injury-illness
There are steps for refusing unsafe work at Refusal-of-Unsafe-Work_23-24
Always refer to the district website and WCB for up-to-date forms. If you have followed these steps, and have not received help from the employer, please reach out to the union.

CUPE BC Telephone Town Hall with David Eby
Join CUPE BC President Karen Ranalletta and Premier David Eby for a special telephone town hall on Monday, September 9 at 6 p.m. This is an important opportunity for CUPE members to hear directly from the Premier and to ask questions about issues that matter to us, including public services, workers’ rights, and the future of our communities.
