Feeding Futures Grievance Update

This week in Vancouver, Kathy, Alicia, and Anne—along with our National Representative Jolene and our legal counsel Suzanna Quail—successfully negotiated a settlement agreement through mediation regarding the outstanding Feeding Futures grievance.
Key Highlights:

Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, Feeding Futures hours will return to the bargaining unit. These hours will be available to school-based CUPE members, allocated in order of seniority.

To be eligible, members must have Food Safe Certification. The district will reimburse training costs for up to two people per site per year, with prior approval from your administrator. If two staff members at your site are already approved, you can also use pro-d funds to cover the course cost.
