Good Afternoon our wonderful Picket Captains or Possible Picket Captains,
As you know we have reached an impasse and we will be entering into mediation soon. Anita, Rena, and I met with the Regional Director last night and she is working on getting the training moved up so that it can be done before mediation. We have confirmed that the picket captain training will be 1/2 day online on February 2nd in the afternoon or February 3rd in the morning. You only need to attend one, not both.
– Please register for the workshop that works best for you.
– Please put in your SFE for CUPE union paid leave – 22 and in the comment box please put Picket Captain Training
– Please let me know when you have put in for the leave so that I can write a letter approving your union leave.
– Please have a great time, ask lots of questions and have fun.
– Please let me know if you have taken a leave and can no longer participate or if you have changed worksites.
– Please accept our deep appreciation that you are doing this, you are amazing
